As pretty as a flower: Actress Jessica Chastain looked glamorous in a floral dress as she arrived for the 85th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA on Monday

She's known for playing tough women onscreen.
But Jessica Chastain couldn't have looked more demure as she arrived at the 85th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills on Monday.
The actress is nominated for her role as a hardened CIA spy in the thriller Zero Dark Thirty, which chronicles the hunt and eventual killing of Osama bin Laden.

Dressing up, dressing down: Jessica jetted into LAX from New York on Monday, dressed in jeans and a simple t-shirt. In a matter of hours, the actress had transformed into a glamorous swan on the red carpet

Jessica jetted into LA on Monday morning from New York, where she's currently starring in the Broadway play The Heiress. The actress arrived at the airport wearing fitted black jeans, a black wool coat, and a red and white striped T-shirt. She completed the casual yet chic look with over-sized sunglasses and black ankle boots.

As an experienced stage actress, Jessica is used to quick costume changes.
Within hours, Jessica looked like a Hollywood A-lister as she walked the red carpet prior to the luncheon. She wore a black knee-length dress dotted with a pink and purple floral design, and nude heels that accentuated her long legs.
The actress wore her trademark red hair in loose, tousled waves.
