Ooh la la! Paris's Crazy Horse cabaret girls come to London - and launch the risqué show with a VERY cheeky photocall

Paris's legendary Crazy Horse cabaret show is coming to London - and its dancers launched the Forever Crazy show on the Southbank today

The Crazy Horse cabaret - or Le Crazy Horse, as it is klnown in its birthplace of gay Paris, is coming to London.
The legendary show, which opened its doors in the French capital in 1951, calls itself 'the most avant-garde' cabaret in Paris, and claims to have been seducing Parisian audiences for 60 years.
And now the UK audience can experience the same titillation.

Not sure they'd be allowed in the Tower dressed like that... the girls showcased the sort of costumes they wear for the risque cabaret show

This UK presentation of the cabaret that has been seducing Parisian audiences for over 60 years claims to preserve the cabaret’s artistic heritage while adding 'a touch of modernity, humour and sophistication'.
Crazy Horse report that the show, to be performed in a purpose-built venue on the Southbank, consists of distinct choreographed acts, among them legendary Crazy Horse classics as well as new, original creations by French star choreographer Philippe Decouflé.

Showtime: The Crazy Horse dancers will be performing in London from 18 September until 22 December in a purpose built venue on London's Southbank

A series of ten aesthetic tableaus will be performed by a troupe of dazzling dancers; their performances accentuated by stylish costumes, original music and spectacular, high definition projection and lighting effects.
The lighting, they say, is such that the dancers are bathed in richly coloured and textured lights that are so stunning that 'it is hard to determine where skin ends and the reflections begin.'
'London is a bustling world capital for fashion and entertainment so It therefore seemed obvious that one day we present a show here – today we finally we have an opportunity,' Andrée Deissenberg, Le Crazy Horse Managing Director said today.

Perky: The girls drew plenty of attention as they posed in the autumn sunshine

'In addition, for over thirty years, every single Crazy Horse Paris show in the world has opened with the iconic act “God Save Our Bareskin”, which features Royal Horse Guards with a twist. I can’t wait to present it to English audiences, just a few miles down the road from Buckingham Palace.'
'I’m thrilled to be bringing Paris’ oldest cabaret to London’s Southbank. Although Crazy Horse has been running since 1951; the creative team behind the show have kept it avant-garde, relevant yet still mesmerising. We hope you enjoy the show,' said Harvey Goldsmith CBE.

Legendary: The Crazy Horse cabaret has been seducing Parisian audiences for 60 years

Shows have seductive names like Desir, while little factoids on the website revealing that the dancers use 2,500 pairs of stockings, 500 litres of body make-up and 300 lipsticks specially made in the shade Rouge Crazy, only add to the impression that this is a show not to be missed.
And judging by the line-up of girls set to appear, this is one show that is going to be very popular indeed. Vive La France.

Cheeky: The Crazy Horse dancers wore little ponytails at their derrieres. RIGHT: Here come the girls: The dancers arrived at the Southbank wearing rather more clothes than they left with

Seductive: The saucy shows come with names like Desir
