Cool customer: Resilient Robert Pattinson attended the TimesTalks Presents: David Cronenberg and Robert Pattinson at The Times Center in New York this evening
If all of the attention Robert Pattinson is receiving at the moment is getting to him, he certainly isn't showing it.
The Twilight star, who is currently in the spotlight after his girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him with director Rupert Sanders, put on yet another brave front as he attended his third night of public appearances in a row.
The 26-year-old looked resilient as he attended the TimesTalks Presents: David Cronenberg and Robert Pattinson at The Times Center in New York.
Casual Rob: Retiring the dapper suits he has been often wearing over the last few days, this time he opted for a more fun and casual affair
The silver screen hunk attended the event in order to promote his film Cosmopolis, which hits the cinemas on Friday.
While the actor raised very little smiles on the red-carpet, his outfit was somewhat more upbeat.
Retiring the dapper suits he has often been seen wearing over the last few days, this time he opted for a more fun and casual affair.
The broody star was colourful in a striped polo top paired with some casual black trousers and a black blazer.
A baseball cap turned backwards, meanwhile showed his more playful and youthful side.
It has been an awkward and no doubt uncomfortable few days for the British actor.
Support: Robert was joined by Cosmopolis director David Cronenberg at the event in their honour
This morning he appeared on Good Morning America and stumbled through a clumsy interview.
During which, Robert bizarrely put a box of cereal to use during his hotly anticipated Q&A.
The Twilight heartthrob was handed a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch by host George Stephanopoulos, before being asked to address the 'elephant in the room'.
The many faces of Rob: The actor went from broody to slightly jovial as he braved the cameras yet again
Stephanopoulos said: 'Everybody just wants to know... how are you doing? What do you want your fans to know about what's going on in your personal life?'
Robert became flustered at the question, before stammering: '[My fans] seem pretty excited about ... kind of whatever,' to cheers from the crowd outside.
Grasping at straws, he turned to the box of cereal sat next to him, before offering: 'Um, I'd like my fans to know that Cinnamon Toast Crunch is just 130 calories [a serving].'
A struggle: This morning Robert appeared on Good Morning America and stumbled through a clumsy interview
In case it wasn't obvious, he added: 'Pretty much everything that comes out of my mouth is irrelevant.'
Stephanopoulos then went on to ask how he deals with his personal life in the public eye.
To which Robert replied: 'You go into it to do movies. I'm never been interested in trying to sell my personal life. The reason why you go onto TV is to promote movies.'
Uncomfortable: R-Patz said he never went into the movie industry to 'sell his personal life' as he avoided addressing the hot topic of conversation - his cheating girlfriend Kristen Stewart
Prop: Pattinson talked about Cinnamon Toast Crunch when asked what he wanted to tell his fans about his personal life
He said that he never really gets used to the pandemonium, explaining: 'If you start getting used to it, then you become crazy.
'But, uh, it's nice,' he went on. 'It's like being on the craziest theme park ride... Totally exciting, but eventually, at some point, you've got to have a break.'
Stephanopoulos rounded off by saying 'you seem to be doing OK,' in a bid to address the elephant in the room himself, to which R-Patz replied more coolly: 'Yeah, yeah.'
Elephant in the room: The 26-year-old actor was interviewed by George Stephanopoulos who asked him how he was doing after presenting him with a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
Robert's relationship status with Kristen remains unclear after pictures were published of her in the arms of Rupert Sanders almost a month ago.
Sanders, who is married with two children to model Liberty Ross, directed Stewart in Snow White And The Huntsman. Ross also played the role of Stewart's on-screen mother in the film.
Rob is currently promoting his new film Cosmopolis.
Infidelity: The Kristen Stewart cheating scandal with Rupert Sanders broke almost a month ago
He portrays the role of Eric Packer - a multi billionaire - attempting to cross Manhattan in gridlocked traffic - in search of a haircut.
Elsewhere during an interview, he suggested it might be more interesting if the paparazzi followed bankers around - proffering that people in control of billions of dollars were more powerful than actors and, so, were more worthy of the attention.
His GMA appearance came following two other awkward televised interviews on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Monday, and Showbiz Tonight yesterday.
