Who’s loved by the military?
Although it appears as if Kara’s popularity is growing everyday, Seungyeon begs to differ.

On a recent recording of SBS Quiz! Sixth Sense, Seungyeon revealed that when the ladies of Kara took the stage the response from the crowd was pretty good. However, when sexy singer Moon Ji Eun appeared, Seungyeon stated that the men in the military went crazy!

In response to the obvious disappointment from Seungyeon, netizens left encouraging comments such as: “With your help, KARA was able to rise to stardom. You worked hard!” I’m guessing that this performance was early on in their career because if the girls showed up to the military now, the reaction will probably be on a whole different scale!

Brown Eyed Girls’ Abracadabra on ice!
Mao Asada is a Japanese figure skater who was the 2008 World Figure Skating champion and is ranked #4 in the world by the International Skating Union (ISU). And with the help of many other skaters, Mao briefly taunted the competition with the Brown Eyed Girls hip swaying dance song Abracadabra!

It’s always great to see the k-pop influence spreading, especially on a global scale. Granted, the form and choreography isn’t perfect but then again the performers are wearing a pair of skates on ice.

2AM and BEAST are Champions on Inkigayo’s Special
On today’s SBS Inkigayo Vancouver Olympics Special boy groups BEAST and 2AM hooked up on stage to perform a kpop classic, Psy’s Champion. The two groups did an excellent job of bringing back this track with the original fun flair that Psy gave it.

Though they’re a ballad group, 2AM definitely knows how to have fun and bust a move in a genre that’s definitely not their own. BEAST is the go-to newbie group that fans can count on to make ‘em smile with their dorkiness on stage. The original track was a very upbeat song and it was definitely the perfect song for these boys to perform. Check out the original and the new version below.

Almost forty, but still naughty: Mariah Carey rolls back the years as a racy nurse in her brand new video
By Marcus Barnes

Dressing up: Mariah Carey puts on a naughty nurse's uniform in the video for her new single Up Out My Face which features female rapper Nicki Minaj

She may be turning 40 this year, but that won't stop Mariah Carey from flaunting her body in the name of her art.

The superstar singer rolls back the years as she dresses up as a naughty nurse in the video for her latest single Up Out My Face.

In the promo, directed by the star and her husband Nick Cannon, Mariah wears a revealing nurses uniform and high heels as she performs with female rapper Nicki Minaj.

Racy: The R&B diva pulls some chewing gum teasingly from her mouth her new duets album is doe to be released on March 30

The short white outfit shows off the singer's cleavage and curvy legs, while she plays up to the fantasy with a garter around her upper thigh - teasingly pulling some chewing gum from her mouth at one point.

In another scene she pulls a wad of money from her cleavage and throws it at the camera.

Starting out with the two ladies encased in boxes, like real life Barbie dolls, the video sees them claw their way out to throw a party together in a supermarket - a red and white theme predominant throughout.

Pulses racing: Nicki pretends to check Mariah's heart rate in the red and white themed video which was directed by the star's husband Nick Cannon

Womanly curves: Mariah adjusts the garter on her thigh - the new single is taken from her forthcoming album Angels Advocate

Mariah's nurses uniform is amongst several racy outfits she is seen wearing during the song, taken from her forthcoming duets remix album Angels Advocate, due to be released March 30.

She also wears a red jacket, short PVC skirt and knee-high boots and a tight-fitting evening dress, all the while accompanied by Minaj who is a protégé of rapper Lil Wayne.

Set for release on the same day fellow R&B star Usher puts out his new LP, Raymond V. Raymond, Angels Advocate will be Mariah's 13th studio album.

Box clever: The singer starts out encased in a box like a real-life Barbie doll

It features brand new remixes and duets of songs from her 2009 release, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.

Mariah released two songs this week, a duet of Angels Cry with Ne-Yo and Up Out My Face and she is currently on her Angels Advocate tour, which ends on February 27 at the Pearl Concert Theatre in Las Vegas.

Her husband recently spoke to MTV News about his and Carey's hectic schedule, saying that they are planning to start a family once things slow down.

Special treat: Mariah wears another skimpy outfit as she pays a visit to a beauty salon in the new video

Stripped: The singer says she enjoyed going without make-up in Precious

He said: 'We absolutely plan to have a family. But we gotta prioritize, because that's a major, major priority.

'That's like the only priority in life, when you think about it, is starting and raising a family. We wanna make sure everything is out of the way and that we don't have any distractions.'

Meanwhile the ever-glamorous singer admitted she enjoyed dressing down for her role in new film Precious, which is released in the UK today.

She told OK! magazine: 'It was like removing masks, as opposed to putting them on.

'A lot of people didn’t recognise me, and I was actually happy about that.”

'I had to lose the entire persona with me as Mariah Carey. I hate speaking in the third person but that’s the only way to explain it!'

Dia apologizes to Park Bom of 2NE1
19 year old Dia, who is still a relatively new singer has run into a bit of a dilemma, due to fans comparing her to 2NE1’s Park Bom.

Dia recently released her new track and music video for “Another Boy,” and she has been gaining quite a following. The fans have even started to claim that her looks, style and powerful vocals are very similar to Bom’s. Dia has been coined as “Bom 2.0,” and fans have created various comparison videos of the two singers.

Being that Dia is actually a very humble and new singer to the scene, she feels bad about what is going on. Her agency stated:

“Dia is concerned and apologetic that this attention may be burdensome and annoying for Park Bom unnie, so she is being extremely cautious with everything she does now.”

I never paid much attention to Dia before, but this just opened my eyes and I can’t help but like her now.

Dia released Another Boy on January 11th and has been performing on KBS Music Bank for 3 weeks now. Check out her performance below!

Stunt-weary Tom Cruise collapses into the arms of Cameron Diaz
By Georgina Littlejohn

Hold me: Tom Cruise collapses into Cameron Diaz's arms after filming some stunt scenes for their upcoming film Knight and Day in California yesterday

There's many a man would swap places with Tom Cruise as he snuggles up to Cameron Diaz.

The star returned to the set of Knight And Day today in Long Beach, California, and fell straight into the arms of his glamorous co-star.

The 47-year-old barely had time to catch his breath after filming some action scenes for the movie The Hardy Men than he was back filming again with Diaz.
Scroll down for the Knight and Day trailer...

The pair were back to work action comedy Knight And Day, which is released in July.

Cruise plays a secret agent who goes on a blind date with unlucky-in-love Cameron Diaz and ends up forcing her to help him protect a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source.

The couple filmed some scenes for the movie in Seville in Spain in early December but took a break for Christmas and New Year.

Sprinting: Cruise pounds the boards of a wooden jetty as he films an action scene

Anything you can do: Cameron Diaz shows Cruise she wants in on the action too

Last week, Diaz, 37, and Cruise were seen pitching in with other Hollywood stars to take pledges during a fundraising telethon to raise money for the victims of the Haiti earthquake

But this week they were back to work, and staying on their native shores, they were seen filming on a fishing jetty, with Cruise running up and down before appearing to collapse in Diaz's arms.
He was also seen warming up by doing some press-ups on the wooden jetty before filming began

Drop and give me twenty: Tom limbers up for his action scenes with some press-ups on the jetty

Taking a break: Diaz and Cruise share a joke as they rest in between scenes

And there was no lying around for her as she also got stuck into the action and was filmed running after Cruise in a fitted white shirt, blue skinny jeans and long brown boots.

And while her husband was sprinting up and down wooden piers in the Californian sun, Katie Holmes was braving the snow in Utah at the Sundance Film festival

The actress was snapped sipping from a coffee amid a snowfall at the festival where she is promoting two of her upcoming films.

Yesterday she attended the premiere of 'The Romantics', in which she co-stars with Transformers star Josh Duhamel, and the day before she dressed down for the first screening of her other film 'The Extra Man', which also stars Kevin Kline.

With Mo-Mo no longer in the picture, Thor takes over the role of Jackie's sharing buddy in the chapel

Nurse Jackie", pill-popping nurse who juggles double persona in the hospital and back at home, will be back for a second season on March 22 on Showtime. A brief look at how she would continue hiding her secret from the rest of her co-workers after Eddie found out about her being married, is given in a new trailer.

The promo actually is a mash up of scenes from the first season and the new one. Some of the things expected from the second season are Coop getting his big break being listed in a New York magazine, the schizophrenic guy living in the building across the hospital being admitted to ER, and Jackie sharing her thoughts in the chapel with Thor instead of Mo-Mo.

It was confirmed back in December last year that Mohammed De La Cruz aka Mo-Mo is no longer part of the show. The character played by Haaz Sleiman lost the spotlight to Eve Best's Dr. O'Hara. "We love Haaz; we miss him," Exec Producer Linda Wallem said. "[The character] did not sustain what we wanted to do because O'Hara took over the best friend role."

Lee Da Hae’s ideal man is…
Lee Da Hae has been getting lots of attention for her beautiful looks and her roles in the drama My Girl, and most recently, The Slave Hunters. On a recent episode of Sweet Night, she revealed her ideal man.

The two remaining contestants for her Ideal World Cup game were Daniel Henney and Lee Seung Gi. But I guess her ideal is a manly person, as she picked Daniel Henney.

She was then asked to say a message to him in English, since Daniel Henney isn’t very good at Korean. Lee Da Hae lived in Australia for 5 years, so she is very fluent in English.

CF of Ayumi cutting her hair released
Ayumi Lee recently decided to debut in Japan and underwent a name-change to become ICONIQ. But that’s not the only transition she made as she revealed that she had shaved her head. Now a Maquillage lipstick CF that shows the haircut event itself has been released!

Ayumi definitely took a big step but the look does fit her. Stay tuned for her February 24th comeback debut!

T-ara members gang up on Jiyeon
On the January 25th broadcast of KBS2TV’s new hit drama God of Study, girl group T-ara made a cameo appearance, showing up as tormentors of their fellow member Jiyeon (Na Hyun Jung in the drama).

I don’t want to give away too much of the plot, but you can see from the pictures that the girls are pretty serious. Cute, as always, but serious. Even kind hearted Eunjung looks like she’s about to knock the living daylights out of Jiyeon.

All of the girls together on set make the already epic drama even better, and although they looked pissed off on camera, at least they seemed to have enjoyed themselves on set.

Oh! my Gee did SNSD plagiarize Rihanna?
Looks like we might have another case of plagiarism on our hands: everyone’s been tuning in to SNSD’s recent chart-topping hit track Oh!, and some eagle-eyed (err, bionically-eared) netizens have noticed an uncanny similarity between Oh! and popular American artist Rihanna’s Shut Up and Drive.

Obviously both tracks have different lyrics & different instruments, but with a bit of tweaking…

Many kpop fans have commented that the chorus really sticks out because it bears so many similarities to Rihanna’s track. “This is a great song, but the chorus is similar to Rihanna’s Shut Up and Drive,” one listener remarked. Another pointed out, “It’s ironic how Oh! begins with the words ‘brand new sound,’ yet the track sounds exactly like Rihanna’s Shut Up and Drive.” Some netizens believe that Oh! may not be necessarily plagiarized but is still heavily influenced by Rihanna’s song.

Shut Up and Drive and Oh! share a striking resemblance in terms of their arrangement of notes and how they are played. The melody of the SNSD track by Kenzie however seems more of an interpolation rather than a direct sample from Rihanna’s hit single.

It should also be noted that Shut Up and Drive contains a credited interpolation of New Order’s Blue Monday. We don’t know for sure if SME credited either parties for the sample; however, if Rihanna’s company bothered to give proper credits for their sample, surely SME should have done the same for SNSD’s.

The ladies from girl group HAM have released their new single, Alpensia.

The song has a nice lounge feeling with its jumpy guitars and the girls have pretty good voices. Alpensia is the name of a ski resort that opened November 27th last year in Gangwon Province. T-ara performs Like the First Time on Music Core
With all of the success that T-ara has received with Bo Peep Bo Peep, it’s hard to believe that the majority of T-ara fans & netizens voted against this track back in December when the album first came out.

Now that BPBP promotions are over, many have been looking forward to the performance of Like the First Time, and they’re finally here! Like the first time they performed this track in full last week, T-ara wore matching sparkly dresses with hot pink feather-things attached to their fingers. Check out this performance

'True Blood' Releases Production Start Teaser
A new batch of TruBlood drinks brewing in factory becomes the symbolic illustration that the third season is officially in motion.

Even the production start of "True Blood" gets an exclusively-made teaser. Without revealing any plot or characters, HBO announces that the third season is officially on track in production stage. The footage uses mostly the making of its synthetic blood drink, TruBlood.

The new chapter in Sookie and vampire Bill saga will unfold in June 2010. Creator Alan Ball has added a lot of new characters and revamped the storyline in a way that the villain is no longer one but three. "We have a triumvirate of evil this season," he told EW. "I'm talking about Franklin Mott, Russell Edgington, and Debbie Pelt. They are all bad to the bone. They're not just crazy, they're evil."

The show has found actors for Russell aka King of Mississippi and Franklin in Denis O'Hare and James Frain respectively but is yet to discover an actress for Debbie. "We actually beefed up Debbie. She's going to be in more episodes, so maybe that will have an impact on [what actress] we can get for her, which is a big question right now," he revealed the reason of late casting.

In addition to the whole villain dynamic, the main characters are also facing personal demons. "He will continue to explore the whole Sookie thing and what that's all about," Alexander Skarsgard said about his character Eric. "He's trying to figure out what's different about her. He's intrigued by that. And in addition to that, there's something that happened a thousand years ago that he's still carrying in his heart. All I'll say is he's trying to avenge someone."

Video: TV Journalist Grabbed David Beckham's Crotch
For the sake of proving that the soccer stud doesn't have big manhood like featured in his Armani ad, Elena di Cioccio came closer to investigate herself.

David Beckham is the latest victim of an Italian TV prankster called "Le Iene" which means "The Hyenas". The popular show's presenter Elena di Cioccio grabbed onto his testicles and declared that they are not as big as how they appear in his Armani underwear ad.

Beckham who is on loan at AC Milan, was giving interview to a lot of reporters when Cioccio shoved her hand on his crotch using yellow rubber glove. Beckham was shocked for a while before then escorted by security to his car. Some of his entourage prevented Elena from speaking to him.

The incident was captured on camera, along with Elena's introduction that reveals the crotch-grabbing is planned. "Off the pitch we have seen fascinating photographs of David Beckham in his underpants and seemingly very well endowed and even his wife says that he is well equipped and calls him Golden Balls," she said.

She added, "Well the image may have slipped slightly as he has been replaced in the Armani campaign by a younger footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, but we wanted to find out if he was as well endowed as the pictures suggest or if they were touched up." The TV journalist then reported her findings, saying "I touched it but it's small. David you have conned us all. What did you use cotton wool? It's all a trick."

Beckham has not personally responded to the incident but a spokesman of him said Cioccio only touched a handful of his trouser's leg. The spokesman added, "We have no issue with it. It did surprise him at that time but David stopped at whatever it was, harmless fun." However, soon after the incident spread out, fans of the soccer ace ranted that Cioccio should be arrested for sexual assault.

Revered by Kopites - who christened him 'God' - the Toxteth Terror terrified opponents, netting 183 goals in 369 appearances across his two stints at Liverpool.

A boyhood Evertonian, Fowler joined Liverpool's Centre of Excellence as an 11-year-old, and the rest, as they say is history.
A deadly fox in the box, Fowler remains one of the most natural poachers to have played the game, firing in goals left, right and centre since his debut on September 22, 1993.

Will she be around if I go through this again?"

Boyzone Paying Tribute to Stephen Gately in 'Gave It All Away' Music Video
In the newly-premiered music video for Mika-written single, Boyzone's remaining members are seen mourning Stephen Gately's death.

Boyzone are compiling footage of their late bandmate Stephen Gately in a music video supporting their new single "Gave It All Away". An empty chair is featured throughout the video as a reminder about Stephen's sudden death. At one point, Shane Lynch is seen unable to hold back his tears. The members of the band are captured comforting each other to get through the hard time.

"Gave It All Away" is written by Mika. It features Ronan Keating and Stephen on the lead vocal. The track may be included in the group's forthcoming studio album which is planned to be released as a tribute to the late singer.

"We have decided that what we do now is we're going to make the next album for Stephen," Ronan opened up back in November 2009. "We want to stick together because we find comfort in being together at the moment. We have a couple of songs with Stephen's vocal on it so that's a saving grace. Thank God we have that, that's very important to all of us and we know the fans would really appreciate that too."
